Community College Provides Training for Apprenticeship
Pittsburgh-based training center
New Century Careers will
launch a two-year robotics technician apprenticeship program with technical training provided by the
Community College of Allegheny County, the
Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry recently announced during a tour of the
Training Innovation Center.

Bucks County Community College Metalwork and Industrial Maintenance Training Programshave been formally recognized by the
Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry as meeting pre-apprenticeship standards, giving students a career pathway to apprenticeship opportunities.

Reading Eagle article. "Berks... has a great industrial base. Over 20% of GDP comes from manufacturing," Mr. Hobbs said. "There's good technical schools and training available."
Community College of Philadelphia students Jabril Gregory and Jasmine Rozario recently qualified for the final rounds later this month. Mr. Gregory is a Business/General major with an interest in marketing and Ms. Razario is an International Studies major with an interest in international business. We're rooting for you!!
38th National Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service Honors Delaware County Community College Alumnus
Matthew LeTourneau was among the 92 fallen firefighters honored during the 38th National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service to remember those who died in the line of duty in 2018.
