College Radio Continues World Broadcast Despite Hurdles
Despite the extraordinary times, the
Montgomery County Community College radio station continues to broadcast worldwide. Thanks to the dedicated work of the Information Technology team at the college,
students in the Montco Radio club are able to have their voices heard even though the campus studio is closed.
Alumni, Employees and Students are the Front Line of Health Care
Many alumni, employees and health professions students from
HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, work in hospital systems. They are nursing assistants, radiology technicians, pharmacy technicians, emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics; and
they are sacrificing to serve Pennsylvania.

Instead of an in-person pinning ceremony,
Community College of Philadelphia nursing graduates
recently gathered for a 2020 Zoom online graduation party with
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and college
President Donald (Guy) Generals, Ed.D. The Class of 2020 has faced heartbreak and challenges, such as job loss, illness and the death of a classmate.
