Panelists Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab of Temple University and The Hope Center, Dr. Charlene Newkirk of the Community College of Allegheny County, and Delaware County Community College student Victoria Wilson recently participated in a half-hour webinar on the barriers to higher education, and how community colleges are reducing them. Program Gives Students a Head Start on College, Saves Money
A partnership between the Community College of Philadelphia and the School District of Philadelphia, which allows students to take high school courses while also enrolled as full-time college students, is celebrating its first graduating class. Every 2021 graduate of the program has been accepted into a four-year university, most with two years of college credits in-hand.
