Last year, 17 Montgomery County Community College business and accounting students offered to help their fellow students with preparing, reviewing and filing forms for the 2019 tax season. Support from Mary Ellen Glick brought the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program to campus with help from the Campaign for Working Families. The program will expand to the greater community in 2020.
Community College Students Support Veterans and Each Other
Ryan Evans recently spoke about the support Luzerne County Community College has given him since he left the Navy and returned to school.
