State Board Approves Erie County Community College
This is a momentous achievement for Erie County to establish the first community college in the Commonwealth in 27 years,” Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper said. “We believe this community college will benefit Erie County, Northwest Pennsylvania,and the Commonwealth. It’s a great opportunity for students to reach their potential and leave their indelible mark on a local economy that desperately needs their skill sets."
Addiction Recovery Specialists are Trained at Community Colleges
Butler County Community College  is offering programs to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in residential and outpatient addiction recovery facilities. The new 33-credit certificate will be offered this fall and focus on substance addictions like drugs and alcohol, as well as gambling, gaming, and eating.
