Rep. Houlahan Hosts Forum on Value of Community College
U.S. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-6th) recently hosted a forum with Dr. L. Joy Gates Black, President of Delaware County Community College, and others which explored the essential role community college will play as Pennsylvania works to rebuild its economy and generate jobs and academic opportunities for workers and students of all skill and income levels.
Alumna Lauds College Faculty for Being Source of Inspiration
Caroline Robinson, an alumna of the HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College Police Academy, recently reflected on her experience. She said of the faculty, “To pick just one instructor at the police academy that has inspired me would be doing an injustice to everyone who took the time to help instruct us and inspire us each day.”
