Sheryl K. Pruitt, M.Ed., ET/P will be presenting to the faculty of the Greenwood School in Jacksonville, FL on August 4. The Greenwood School is dedicated to teaching students with learning differences. For more information, visit Greenwood's website.
Is your child searching for friends? Does your child miss social cues or struggle with social awareness? Kids Enabled is offering an evening with Atlanta professionals Gayle Born, M.Ed. , Mary Jane Trotti, MA, Clay White, M.Ed., and Alexis Davis, MS, LPC. Strategies for parents will be presented through social skills activities during this interactive, hands-on workshop. Gayle, Mary Jane and Jim Trotti will be holding a breakout session for Social Skills following their presentation. The event will be held on September 15 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mt. Sheryl K. Pruitt, M.Ed., ET/P will be traveling to Norway the first week of October to present at two separate conferences held by the Norwegian Tourette Association : one in Trondheim and one in Oslo.
Gayle Born and Mary Jane Trotti are conducting two seminars for the Women's Ministry of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. The seminars are open to the community. The first seminar is entitled: What should you do if your child has social problems? It will be held at the church on September 29th from 7:00-9:30 pm. The second seminar is entitled: What should you do if your child is having problems in school? It will be held on October 6th from 7:00-9:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend.M ary Jane Trotti will also be speaking in Lebanon as part of the Global Consortium for Education in September. She will be speaking on Improving Social and Emotional Intelligence in Children with Learning Differences and Neurological Disorders.
