Influenza Cases Rising

We are seeing significant numbers of patients in the office who are testing positive for influenza A and B. For the 2025-2026 season, there have also been increased hospitalization rates reported and 66 influenza-associated pediatric deaths in the United States.

With several months to go in the flu season, it is not too late to get the flu vaccine. Appointments can be scheduled for a nurse visit, or inquire at the front desk when checking in for an existing appointment.

Annual Physical Exams

In order for us to provide forms, prescriptions, or referrals, your child(ren) must be current on their annual physical exams.

With Spring sports coming up quickly, you may want to check on the status of these annual exams before requesting any forms.

Options for reviewing due dates:

• Use MyChart to check the date of the previous year's exam. If scheduling through MyChart, you will be prompted to schedule one day later than the previous year's for insurance coverage purposes.
• Call the office to inquire about when the previous year's exam occurred. You can then schedule at that same time.

We have started opening our schedules out one year, so you can schedule next year's exam while in the office.

For any forms that have been completed previously, these are available in MyChart and are good for one year.
