Volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission – giving their time, energy, and compassion to support families in need. It’s a privilege to celebrate their extraordinary impact and extend our deepest thanks.

On April 24, Partners in Housing had the joy of honoring the volunteers who power our mission at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Celebration! The room was buzzing with excitement as more than 30 guests played Partners in Housing-themed bingo, won incredible prizes, and received agency updates. It was a meaningful opportunity to gather, reflect and celebrate the many hands and hearts behind our work.

In 2024 alone, 313 volunteers generously donated 6,441.39 hours of their time to support families on their journey from homelessness to stability. Their dedication, commitment, and selflessness make a lasting impact on the lives we serve – and we couldn’t do it without them.

With every act of kindness, our volunteers have helped build a foundation of hope. We’re deeply grateful and proud to celebrate all they’ve accomplished. Recognition was given to the following volunteers:

  • Rising Star: have volunteered one to two years
  • Lisa Graham
  • Building Block: assists in one service area
  • Kathy Hogeboom
  • Debbie Caldwell
  • Cornerstone: assists in 2+ service areas
  • Steve Brinkman
  • Kam Fletcher
  • Julie Edmunds
  • Karen Littlejohn
  • Collective Impact: volunteer group
  • Roundup Fellowship

A heartfelt thank-you to our amazing event sponsors, whose support made this celebration possible: Overdrive Raceway, Scheel's, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, AirCity 360, TopGolf, Josh & John’s, Bread & Butter Neighborhood Market, Raising Cane’s, Kneaders Bakery & Café, GourmetGiftBaskets.com, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Provision Bread & Bakery, Tracy Miller Fine Art, Alpine Chiropractic, Trader Joe’s, Crumbl, and Costco.

Thank you for standing with us – and with families – on the journey to stability and hope.

Partners in Housing Impact Statement

At Partners in Housing, we are dedicated to strengthening the Pikes Peak Region by serving as a steadfast advocate for and provider of affordable housing. Through our innovative programs, we are opening pathways to a brighter future, enabling families and community members to thrive.

Within our Transitional Family Self-Sufficiency Program, we equip families in crisis with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. From financial literacy and career development to accessing essential local resources, our program fosters healthy living, offering families the space to learn and grow.

Through our Affordable Housing Program, we ensure no one pays more than 30% of their income on housing, shaping the future of the Pikes Peak Region where access to a stable, long-term home serves as the cornerstone for a strong and prosperous community.

Our work supports a lifetime of change for the individuals and families we serve. As a key proponent of affordable housing, we are committed to improving community dynamics, promoting healthcare access, and ultimately building a stronger, more resilient region. Together, we are creating a future where stability, opportunity, and dignity are within reach for all.
