FENDER GUITAR TONE
Guitar tone of various classic electric guitars falls generally into two categories, Fender tone and Gibson tone, both are iconic and crucial to understand in order to have access to these staple sounds. Fender tone is the brighter of the two types, known for being sharp and articulate with single coil pickups and bright tone wood, the percussive quality of this tone is excellent. In my short demo I use my blonde ash Fender Stratocaster to achieve an SRV type modern blues guitar tone. Tone is punchy and powerful when laid into with my aggressive attack, feeling and balance were easily achieved once I found the right tone and worked on my solo arrangement.
