Travelling Riverside Blues
Creating good video content has a luck component as to what listeners will and will not like. Things that stand out as a quality video may not be perfect performances, but performances that capture the listener and give them a quality experience. Feeling and decent execution are still needed, but not to the point of perfection. Jimmy Page is an artist who understands this and has both perfect and imperfect results but fuses them in with great artistic skill and good musician practices. I sight a video I released a few years ago and has gotten a lot of positive attention. G tuning is used in this slide video of Travelling Riverside Blues with Page's version. This was originally a Robert Johnson tune and was reinterpreted for Led Zepplin. In my cover of Page's version, I use both slide and fingered content in a nice tightly executed package with a great tone and feel. A big and powerful feel really fed into the blues and rock intensity. Please use the purple link button below to check it out!
