My third demo with the Fender '57 Deluxe I decided to check out the classic rock sounds of this iconic amp. I simulate a tone that I got from my testing with the Ox power attenuator of a super cranked gain driven tone through a Hot Rod Deluxe. The Deluxe tone signature is very similar in both amps, especially with drive. Rather than use the Ox, I decided to keep the amp low and use a high quality drive pedal for gain. Even with dry tone the guitar tone is balanced and warm without being fuzzy or distorted. My vintage Les Paul just sings in this rig, it is truly wonderful! As far as the artistic end of the video I use a classic rock jam track by Elevated Jam Tracks on You Tube which allowed me to use modes and pentatonic content to craft a balanced, well executed performance.
