The Pilot

October 2016
I t is hard to believe that we are once again getting ready for our Annual Meeting. I want to encourage you to plan to attend. This is a w onderful time to  reconnect  with fellow believers from our partner churches. Not only that, it is also a chance to come together to share about the great things God has done in the past year, and discuss the great things we believe He is calling us to do in 2017. All of our Pastors and Ministry Assistants from our member churches have received a packet of information outlining new ministry strategies and our Proposed budget for the new year. They have been told to make copies and share this information with messengers from their churches. We are doing this a month ahead of the meeting to make sure people are totally informed about all that we are proposing to do for the upcoming year.

Eddie Honeycutt and the wonderful folks at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville are providing the meal that we will be enjoying in their beautiful Fellowship Hall. We will follow the fellowship meal with a time of worship, presentations, discussion and voting on the new budget. The core desire of the Leadership Team of the PMBA is for people to experience the refreshing and inspiring presence of God, and leave this meeting enthused about our future. Please be in prayer for all who will be leading in this crucial meeting, and if you can attend as a messenger or a guest, be sure to go to our website or call the PMBA office to obtain a ticket. I look forward to seeing you there!

Expectantly,
Walker Armstrong
Interim Director of Missions

Thank You

t o EVERYONE who help with the Fair Ministry this year.  It is because of your love and generosity that we are able continue to serve God through this ministry.

A special thanks to all the youth who came out to help give out bag meals and water. We could not have ministered to as many without the numerous volunteers who served as chaplains, canteen workers, medical/dental professionals, and hairstylists.  For all the churches that gave so generously by providing Canteen items, bag meals each night, hygiene kits, blankets and golf shirts -- WOW!  Your reached so many people with the love of Jesus!  We give thanks!

We may never know that the real impact from this PMBA Fair Ministry Week, but we do know that lives were changed and hearts were open to the Gospel.  It took all of us working together to make such an impact.  I thank God for your faithfulness and "love in action." -- Karen Taylor
