Sandhills Motoring Expo

The Sandhills Motoring Expo occurs yearly during Memorial Day Weekend, spanning Friday to Sunday. We offer a diverse array of activities throughout the weekend, culminating in the Sunday Concours in the Village, set in the historic Village of Pinehurst from 9am to 4pm. Each day presents distinct events for our participants, ensuring a rich experience filled with automotive activities. Our Sunday Concours in the Village is open to spectators at no charge.

FRIDAY, MAY 23rd, 2025

Hagerty Drivers Club Cocktail Party :: Tickets Required

4:30pm – 6:00pm | Location: Pine Crest Inn

The Hagerty Drivers Club gets the evening rolling with a special, invite-only cocktail party, featuring delectable bites, adult beverages, and a welcome to Drivers Club members as they help usher in and celebrate the commencement of the Sandhills Motoring Expo.

Expo Block Party :: Tickets Required

6:00pm – 9:00pm | Location: Pine Crest Inn

The Expo welcomes all entrants and sponsors Friday evening for an informal car show featuring special display cars, cocktails, a cookout, and a live band in the Expo Pavilion Tent at the Pine Crest Inn.

SATURDAY, MAY 24th, 2025

Airplanes & Automobiles :: Tickets Required

8:00am – 11:00am | Location: Moore County Airport

Join us for a Cars and Coffee style event “On The Ramp” at the Moore County Airport. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow automobile enthusiasts and airplanes taking flight!

Road Rally :: Tickets Required

8:00am – 1:00pm | Location: Pine Crest Inn

Expo Entrants takes on the back roads of the local area with the Road Rally. The Rally courses through the Sandhills area, providing challenging questions, and a tour of the countryside while competing for the title of Rally Champion.

Artisan Tour :: Tickets Required

9:00am – 2:00pm | Location: Ben Owen Pottery/Pine Crest Inn

Join us for the Artisan Tour at Ben Owen Pottery in Seagrove, NC, a captivating destination just a 45-minute drive from the Village of Pinehurst, followedby a judged car show and luncheon.

Hangar Soiree :: Tickets Required

6:00pm – 9:00pm | Location: Moore County Airport

Saturday evening features the Expo Hangar Soiree at the Moore County Airport’s Main Hangar along with a catered dinner by Elliott’s on Linden, exotic cars, and airplanes on display.

SUNDAY, MAY 25th, 2025

Concours in the Village :: Open to the Public for Spectating

8:30am – 4:00pm | Location: Village of Pinehurst

Set against the historic and picturesque backdrop of Pinehurst, our signature event hosts over 125 judged show field automobiles, along with special sponsor and vendor displays. This event is open to the public at no charge for spectating.

Frequent Diner Club

Sign up for the PCI Frequent Diner Club! As a member, you will be given a Frequent Diner Card that can be used for ONE of the following:

• Weekday Breakfast Club
• Sunday Breakfast Club
• Early Bird Dinner Club (Tuesdays-Saturdays only)

Your card will be reconciled after each meal. For your 11th meal, your fulfilled card will be your payment. Cards will be issued to any one individual and only that card can be used for one meal per seating. A couple will be required to each have their own card. You must have your card in your possession in order to get credit for your meal. Ask your server for details!

*Please note: Each card can only be used for ONE club. So, if you decide to join the Weekday Breakfast Club, your card may only be reconciled for weekday breakfasts and your reward meal will be a weekday breakfast. The same applies to the Sunday Breakfast Club and the Early Bird Dinner Club.
