Dear Pleasantville Families,

School Delays / Cancellations and Remote Instruction Days

With inclement weather expected this weekend, I wanted to take a moment to provide two reminders.

First, please ensure you are registered for K12 Alerts. I will use K12 Alerts to notify you of any delays, cancellations and/or use of a remote instruction day.

Second, a remote instruction day may be implemented for reasons like weather events or emergencies (e.g., gas, heating, electrical issues). Traditional snow days will still be observed, but remote instruction offers an alternative when in-person learning is not feasible.

Information about a remote instruction days is on our website. This instructional option not only helps us meet state-required instructional hours but also ensures a seamless learning experience for our students. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work together to maintain a safe and effective educational environment.

Informational Meeting for 2024-25 PreKindergarten

We will host an informational meeting for families with children eligible for PreK in the 2024 -25 school year. The remote meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 8:30 PM.
