Dear Community Partners,

As the promise of Spring draws near, I am filled with both immense pride and sincerest gratitude for all that Preferred Behavioral Health Group has accomplished in the past year. The numbers are in, and it is my honor to share that Preferred Behavioral Health Group served over 27,000 individuals across our vast expanse of behavioral health programming in 2023.

These services included traditional outpatient counseling and psychiatry, substance use services, prevention, case management, residential and homelessness supports, crisis intervention for children and families, in-school supports, and so much more spanning over 70 programs in New Jersey. The dire need for mental health care within our communities is clear, and our resolve to meet our clients where they are is unwavering. This achievement is not ours alone; it is a testament to the strength of our partnership with all of you.

Thank you for walking this path with us, for your continued support, and for being an integral part of our journey towards creating healthier, more resilient New Jersey communities.

With deepest gratitude,

Tara A. Chalakani, PsyD, LPC, RN
