Welcome to the 2024-25 school year!

We are excited to kick off this school year with our theme, "Committed to Excellence." This theme emerged from our community engagement during the strategic-planning sessions and represents our collective commitment to being our best every day.

Vision: A world-class district centered on students, driven by results

Get the facts about the operating levy referendum proposal

On November 5, Prior Lake-Savage Area School district residents will be asked to vote on an operating levy referendum proposal that would bolster the district’s financial stability, maintain what we have and allow us to invest in academic programs and services directly aligned with our new Strategic Plan, which was developed with community input.

If approved, additional funds would support investments in programs aligned with our community-informed Strategic Plan. We propose the following to support each student's growth and success:

• Enhance academic excellence that increases student performance and outcomes

• Increase staffing for behavior intervention and student support

• Expand career pathway programs

• Strengthen safety and security at all schools

Standard Response Protocol launching this school year

Ensuring the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. For the upcoming school year, we’re excited to implement the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) plan.

Developed by the I Love U Guys Foundation, the SRP provides clear protocols for emergencies like fires, lockdowns, evacuations, severe weather and medical situations.

Starting this fall, students and staff will train, practice and drill the SRP actions seen above. For more information, including a video, click here.

“My colleagues are amazing. I feel supported by them and feel we have a common goal. I appreciate the work they do and the constructive dialogue. As both a parent and educator I feel we have some of the most qualified professional staff around. I trust my children with them with no hesitation.”
