Six Year Anniversary Celebration & Fundraiser
Promise celebrated its Six Year Anniversary on October 21 and it was a BLAST! The 176 Keys Fun Pianos brought a whole new dynamic to the event by giving us two hours of interactive, slightly embarrassing, and hilarious entertainment.
2014 Addink Community Service Award Recipient, Jean Ellis

The Addink Community Service award was presented to a very deserving woman, Jean Ellis, of Sioux Center. Her family and friends were there to support her and also were great participants in the entertainment portion of the night.

The silent auction was also a major success and very busy all night as people tried to escape doing the YMCA or I'm a Little Tea Pot on stage.

Over all, it was a wonderful meal, very entertaining, and we raised $16,000! This has been our most successful year yet and we are thrilled to have such supportive donors, friends, family, patients, staff, and board members. We hope you call come back next year to celebrate Promise and another year of great work in Sioux Center!
Dueling Pianos got LOTS of participation right away - thanks to all of you for being good sports - especially Bruce Anliker for leading the men in some great dance moves.

Executive Director, Nancy Dykstra, giving opening remarks.
Dordt Volleybal Supports Promise in PINK OUT
The Dordt College Women's Volleyball Team and Promise Community Health Center came together to host Sister to Sister Pink OUT night on Wednesday, October 29 to raise awareness for breast cancer!
Pastor Verlyn Boone & his wife Sue, were guest coaches at the game with Coach Chad Hanson. They purchased the opportunity to eat with the team and sit on the bench for the game at Promise's Annual Event!
Kellie & Brittany managed the silent auction while the volleyball team got another win against Dakota Wesleyan!
There was a silent auction that raised over $500 to go toward Women's Health at Promise. The fans wore PINK and there were educational banners designed by Dordt's Art Department displayed throughout.
We hope you have a happy, healthy month!
