Coach's Corner!
Monthly tips and observations from Director of Tennis, Marcos Ondruska

Holding the Center

Holding the center is vital if you want to be successful in singles or doubles. All good singles and doubles players apply this concept in many different and creative ways. It forces your opponent(s) to go for lower probability shots from tougher positions. Over time that generally works out well for you! Consider that power is not the only way to get this done, short slices and higher balls work well too.
