The fall racing season is well underway. Good luck to all of the cross country athletes running in the State Championships or National Championships.

OHSAA State Cross Country Championships

The 90th Boys and 41st Girls Ohio High School Athletic Association State Cross Country Championships will be held Saturday, November 3rd at Hebron's National Trail Raceway.
2019 Arnold 5K Pump & Run and Arnold 5K Run – March 3 rd
Registration for the Arnold 5K Pump & Run starts November 1 st. The event has sold out in 2-7 days in the past years.

Registration for the Arnold 5K will reopen after the Arnold 5K Pump and Run is closed.

OAT&CCC CROSS COUNTRY COACHES CLINIC
The OAT&CCC Cross Country Coaches Clinic will be held Friday, November 16 at the Holiday Inn, 2800 Presidential Dr., Fairborn, OH 45324
USATF National Meeting
The 2018 USATF Annual Meeting will be held in Columbus November 28 - December 2

On the Run with Matt McGowan

Matt McGowan, a 31 year old full time business teacher/department chairman and coach at Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus has had a lifelong interest in running. Matt first got involved with running in grade school in Wheeling, Illinois. In junior high, Matt ran the dashes. However, after his oldest brother, Bill, broke the Circleville High School 880 yard run record, Matt was moved up to that event.

The McGowan Family Track
Circleville City Schools recognized and thanked the McGowan family for their generous donation to the track facilities at the CHS Track Invitational last month. In honor of their continued support, the facility will now be known as The McGowan Family Track.
