Refreshing Spring Evangelistic Services:

RSCOGIC Annual Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway
The Thanksgiving "Farmers Rally" will be held on,
Tuesday, November 26, 2013 @ 7:00 p.m.
If you are a Refreshing Spring member and are in need of a basket please call 301-277-2020. Information needed: Name - Membership status - Size of family - Address, Phone number and Email address. The deadline to make a request is Wednesday, November 13, 2013. The church will provide the majority of the turkeys. If you would like to donate a turkey for this event - please call the business office to receive the drop-off instructions. All RSCOGIC members are asked to participate in this Thanksgiving Celebration by donation & bringing the following items: Cornbread Mix, Canned vegetables, string beans, corn, black eyed peas, collards, kale etc.), Stuffing Mix, Yams (canned or fresh), Macaroni, Cheese, Butter, Rice, Pie crusts. We dress like we are on the farm - so jeans and jean skirts are very appropriate and if you can find your straw hat- please wear it! We work together sorting food and assembling the baskets, and we need help to assist the families in getting the food to their cars. Parents and students- Community service hours are available for participation in this effort.

HEALTH MINISTRY:
Refreshing Spring Health Ministries has partnered with the Delmarva Foundation and Walgreens to provide FREE flu shots (ONLY) here at Refreshing Spring, on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 4:30pm - 8:00 pm, in the fellowship hall. You may contact the business office to begin signing up or see our Health Ministry coordinator, Sis Melissa Sandlain for more information.

"RECOGNITION SERVICE"
The 2013 Refreshing Spring Veteran's Day service will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2013. We need Refreshing Spring volunteers of the military, i.e., Veterans, Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve members, to make this "Recognition Service" a success. Please contact Bro. Bryan and/or Sis. YOUTH MINISTRY:
The Sunshine Band/Children's Church Ministry presents, the Children's Christmas Presentation, Friday, December 13, 2013. Rehearsals will be every Wednesday beginning @ 7:00 p.m., rehearsals will take place in the White Bldg (rear of the church). You will be notified regarding cancellations. Parents, please allow your child to participate in the Christmas Presentation and commit to honoring the scheduled rehearsals by being present and on time. Boys & Girls from ages 3 -12 years old are welcome. We would like to have full participation of all our children. New members are welcome.
