    Our annual Big Broadway review is just around the corner. Dates are March 9 & 10, 7:30 at The Courtyard Theatre, 1509 Ave H, -Plano. The cast will be Huge and the Fun Abundant. Good seats are going fast. VIP Tickets are $65 and both night's tickets include hors d oeuvres before the show and a Dessert and Coffee Bar at Intermission. And there will be something NEW, a Live Auction at Intermission. Don't miss this one. Tickets on sale now. Reserved seating tickets are $30. Proceeds from Broadway's Best go to support our Summer Programming. Plan to attend. (See below for Auction details.)

    School of Musical Theatre 2012 Spring/Summer Workshops & Camps

    School of Musical Theatre Upcoming Workshops:
    Once upon a Mattress-March 19-Apr 28 (DATES HAVE BEEN CHANGED...ONLY 2 SPACES LEFT!!!) for Ages 8-17. Session 1: MW 5:00-7:00. Session 2: TTH 5:00-7:00. Tuition $325 plus $35 annual membership fee.
    Private Studies Program: 30 minute private class in Voice, Dance or Acting. $35 for 30 minutes. Call to schedule your day and time. 972-690-5029.

    Summer Theatre Camps include....
    The Drowsy Chaperone: Ages 11-17 June 4-24 (3 week camp, M-F 10:00-4:00) $525; Ages 7-10 June 11-17 (Session 1, One week camp M-F 10:00-12:30) $185; Ages 7-10 June 18-24 (Session 2, One week Camp, M-F 10:00-12:30) $185. Students will perform the show at the Promenade Theatre.
    Annie: Ages 5-7 & Ages 8-12 July 16-22 (Session 1, One week camps, M-F 10:00-12:30) $185; Ages 5-7 & Ages 8-12 July 23-29 (Session 2, one week camps, M-F 10:00-12:30) $185. Students will perform the Main Stage Musical, Annie, with REP Company.
    Little Shop of Horrors Teen Camp: Ages 12-17, July 9-28 (3 week camp, Wk 1-10:00-4:00, Wk 2 & 3-1:00-4:00) $525. Students will Perform show the final weekend of the camp at Promenade Theatre.
    KidStock: Ages 5-7, Two Week Camps culminate in Performances. Superpinka-licious! June 4-15, 10:00-1:00 $260. Me & My American Girl, June 18-29, 10:00-1:00 $260. Mad Hatter's Tea Party, July 5-13, 10:00-1:00 $235. Extended day available till 3:30. Camp is held at Promenade Theatre. $35 annual membership necessary. Payment plans available.     NEW Frisco Musical Theatre Camp/Little Shop of Horrors: Ages 12-18, July 16-Aug 4 (3 week camp, wk 1 & 2 1:00-4:00, wk 3 10:00-4:00) tuition $600. Camp held at The Discovery Center-8004 Dallas Parkway, Frisco. Camp ends with performance, Sat Aug 4. $35 annual membership necessary. Payment plans available. To enroll, call 972-690-5029.     All Workshops and Camps culminate in performance. Each session focuses on theatre skills, dance, vocal performance and character development. Students are given one on one instruction. Student/Teacher ratio is 15/1. Payment plans available.

    Repertory Company Theatre kicks off our 2012 Summer Musicals with The Drowsy Chaperone, June 15-24, Promenade Theatre-650 N Coit, Richardson. Shows are FR/SAT 7:30, SUN 2:00. Tickets ($25 adults, $20 seniors, $14 youth) can be purchased in advance by calling 972-690-5029. Group rates also available. What a way to start the Summer Musicals -Repertory Company Theatre's 2012 Summer Musicals opens with one of its most satisfying productions in years, a fast-flying, half-cynical, half-sweet version of the musical-within-a-narrative-within-a-musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone."

    Each Spring Repertory Theatre makes plans to present Broadway's Best. This year the show will be held a the Courtyard Theatre-Plano. This show is our annual spring fund raiser. Proceeds from Broadway's Best go to support all the great Summer programming we have planned. So, it is essential that this event is not only an artistic but a financial success. However, she has managed to sabotage every princess that come along. Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.
