2017 Solar Cup

Rowland Water District is pleased to announce that we have Santana High School competing in the 2017 Solar Cup competition again this year. This prestigious, High School competition is hosted and sponsored by Metropolitan Water District and this year they will be celebrating their 15th Anniversary of the program!

Solar Cup is a high school education program, where  the students put their engineering, math and conservation skills to the test and the end result is to build and race a solar-powered boat.

The three-day competition will take place at Lake Skinner, in Temecula Valley, May 19-21, 2017.
