Demolition of the old buildings and construction on the second phase of the project will commence after the transfer.
Green features include durable and low maintenance materials to stretch the life expectancy of the 24-hour facility, solar hot water, restroom fixtures that use less water, and ample windows for natural lighting of common rooms in housing units, and administrative offices.
