As most of you know we are in the middle of our annual membership drive. We have a matching challenge that expires on Thanksgiving. We would love to meet this challenge. See below for more details and how you can help.
We had great fun at our two events in October.
ArtsGoggle was a great event as always. There were record numbers of people and artists participating in the event. Thanks to the students from UT Arlington's glass department for providing the glass blowing demos, our flame working artists for their demos, and our volunteers for all of your help. The second annual Pride of Southside Homebrew Invitational (PoSHI) was a great success as well. We increased the number of participants in both of the judged categories (BJCP and Best in Show) and the number of guests. There was an amazing amount of great craft beer to sample from both the pros and the home brewers. Congratulations to the winners, Randy Zorn in the BJCP category, and Diana Packer in Best in Show. Thank you to our awesome neighbors, Chimera Brewing, our title sponsor, for making this event so successful. Thank you to our brewery sponsors Martin House, Wild Acre, Panther Island, HopFusion, The Collective, and Rahr. Thanks also to Hutson Creative, Stubby's Texas Brewing and Brew Hound for your support.
