Last Chance: Hurricane Relief for

Camp Weed

Camp Weed has such a special place in so many of our hearts. Unfortunately, it took a direct hit from Hurricane Idalia. While most of the buildings were spared, over 150 trees are down on the property including on the water plant and lift stations. It is going to take quite a bit to help get Camp Weed functional again, and St. Andrew's, we can help!

We'll be taking up a collection this Sunday and the next to send to Camp Weed. Just drop your cash or check (made out to St. Andrew's, with the memo Camp Weed) into the plate at the offertory. We've collected a little over $400 at this point.

AND! As announced this past Sunday, the St. Andrew's Foundation will be matching all donations to Camp Weed up to $1,000. So make your money go twice as far and write your check today!

Christian Formation This Week

Godly Play, a Montessori-style children's formation class, for children ages 3-10 is back on!

Join us this Sunday, September 17th at 9:15- 10:15 am in Classroom 2!

Join Mtr. Lisa in Emmanuel Hall (next to the Sanctuary) from 9:15-10 a.m. beginning this Sunday, September 17th, to ask all the questions about Christianity you can think of! This is a course for those who may be shy about traditional Christian formation. just casual conversation over coffee.

There is no set topic and no question is off limits!

Join us in Classroom 1 at 9 a.m. this Sunday as we continue our book study Looking for God in Messy Places by Jake Owensby.

Life is messy. We can get discouraged by setbacks, overwhelmed by busyness, and shaken by worry. Hope is the power that gets us out of bed in the morning and gives us the courage to face adversity.

Join the Choir!

Whether you have the voice of an angel or just make a joyful noise to the Lord, now is the perfect time to join the choir at St. Andrew's!

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the choir loft and run through some well-known hymns. Then we sing during the 10:30 am service.

It takes all kinds of folks to lead worship at St. Andrew's and we need your voice. Come join us!

The office will be closed at noon on Monday September 18, 2023.

What's New

Soft Space, Family Pews & A New Fridge!

Jesus said “Let the little children come to me” and so do we! Check out our new soft space for littles and pews reserved for families in Repaz Chapel. Parents and kids are of course welcome to sit wherever they would like, but kids learn to be the church by being with us in the service and we want to make sure they have a great seat for all the action. Age appropriate activities are available in the soft space and the pews. Moms and dads of babes, there is a glider in the corner that is perfect for nursing and napping during the service.

Also, check out the new fridge next time you're in the Parish Hall. This one both works and has doors that shut and stay shut.
