We are at a turning point in the life of St. Andrew’s. We are cautiously coming out of Covid. We have a balanced budget. And we’re even adding new members. We are at a healthy place. But with your help, we can do more.
Your pledge helps the church to operate day to day, but with an investment of $30,000, St. Andrew’s can build a legacy that will last here in Jacksonville. This is an optional offering above and beyond your pledge, but look at what your additional funding could help us to create:
Rebuild
In May of 2021, a car crashed through the wall of our library building. After a year of working with the insurance company, we have finally completed the restoration of the room… but the entire building could use some work. By fully renovating the building, we expect to be able to list and rent this space which would enable us to fund our buildings and grounds costs decades into the future.
Your funding will help us to:
- Renovate the upstairs with new carpet and ceiling tiles.
- Eliminate the mold in the bathrooms and restore them.
- Clean up the exterior of the building.
Restore
Our sanctuary is a beautiful and holy space. But there are some things we can do to make our space more hospitable to visitors and parishioners alike.
Your funding will help us to:
- Refurbish the kitchen space in Emmanuel Hall in order to be able to host coffee hour and other events.
- Address the water damage in the rear of the church.
- Restore one air condition unit and replace a second.
Renew
As we move out of the pandemic, we notice there has been a great shift in the neighborhoods surrounding our parish. More young families have moved into our area, and they will be searching for a church home come fall. As such, we need to develop a dynamic children and youth program in order to attract and maintain families at St. Andrew’s.
Your funding will help us to:
- Hire and train a part-time Children’s and Youth Minister.
