New Class:
Evangelism Made Easy!
Evangelism can be a scary word in the Episcopal Church, but most of us do it every day.

Join Mtr. Lisa in the Parish Hall on June 6th from 9:00-10:00 am to find out how to Invite, Welcome, and Connect folks to church WITHOUT knocking on doors and handing out Bibles!

Come with your sense of humor and learn how we can fulfill our duty to spread the Gospel in the world. There will definitely be coffee, and there may even be snacks!
Bible Study is In-Person!
Join us at 9 a.m. in Classroom 1 this Sunday as we continue our Adult Bible Study in person.

Coffee and Bibles are provided!
Godly Play
Godly Play, a Montessori-style children's formation class, is here! Check out a Godly Play story this Sunday on YouTube.
Summer Choir is Here!
At last we can sing! Have you been surprised by how much you missed singing? Come sing in the St. Andrew's Summer Choir and help the parish get back in the swing of things!

Beginning this Sunday, we will meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am in the choir loft and run through some well-known hymns. Then we'll sing during the 10:30 am service. That’s it. No commitment, just fun!
Men's Grill and Chill
Join the men of the church on June 10th at 6 pm for steaks, beers, and fellowship at the LongHorn Steakhouse on Arlington Expressway.

RSVP to Deacon Mike or the Church Office.

Feeling snuggle deficient? Wishing you had a 7-pound, emerald-eyed kitty to hang out with? Miss Bobbi is here to help!

Miss Bobbi is around 10 years old, spayed and fully vaccinated, uses her litter box like a good girl and does not scratch the furniture.

A Prayer For Our Next Bishop
Almighty God, giver of every good gift, we pray that you would look graciously upon the Diocese of Florida, and so guide the minds and hearts of the Nominating Committee as they prayerfully select candidates for the election of the next bishop of this diocese, that we may receive a faithful pastor who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries: Guide also the minds and hearts of the candidates who will come before the Nominating Committee, that this process will be a time of discernment and growth in their lives and ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We all need extra prayer sometimes. If you or someone you love is in need of prayer, please submit your prayer request here: Prayer Request. We will publish the prayer list weekly so the entire parish can keep you in their prayers.

Thank you, St. Andrew's!
A Letter from The Rev. Dcn. Sarah Minton
Dear St. Andrew's Family,

I hope and pray this finds each of you doing well. To be very honest, I am having a difficult time stringing words together because I can't find just the right one to express the gratitude I have for your constant care, love, and support. I write to you this morning through tears of joy as I reflect on your graciousness. What you have given me, and my family is extraordinary. I have found in telling my classmates about your love and generosity, that it is VERY unusual for a church parish to support their seminarian as you have supported me and my family. You have helped carry us through, helping us to pay our bills, buy books, feed us and now moving us back to Jacksonville so I can begin my ordained ministry. The Foundation has supported me, the DOK has supported me, the ECW has supported me and St. Andrews as a whole has supported me. You have been such a beautiful gift to my family, and we are all just so very grateful. Last week when I received my final gift of just over $7,000, my jaw dropped, and then I dropped to my knees thanking God for each of you. As you know moving is very expensive, and the check could not have come at a better time.

I will miss worshipping with all of you, you are in good hands with Mother Lisa. I am hoping my ordination to the priesthood will be open to all, and I pray I will be able to see many of you there. Please keep us in your prayers as we begin the transition back to Jacksonville (movers come on Tuesday) and I begin my ministry at All Saints.

You are precious, you are loved, and you are not alone!

I love you all,
Sarah+
