Art and Spirituality – Lenten Evening Speaker Series - Final Session

Wednesdays, March 4,11,18,25; 6:30 - 7:30 pm, Parish Hall

Join us for the fifth Wednesday evening in Lent as guest speakers share their visions of Art and Spirituality. Sometimes, only art can reveal the invisible, inspiring, and often inexplicable aspects of our faith and our relationship with God. C.S. Lewis likened the human soul's journey to a painting in progress and Thomas Merton captured a similar vision, “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”  See the poster larger.

A New Version of Phishing Emails

We are sorry to say we've had another incidence of phishing/scam emails aimed at parishioners and staff. This one looks like an online invitation/evite to an event, frequently from "Punchbowl," and seeming to come from someone you know.

If you receive something suspicious, please DELETE immediately. Do not reply to it or click on anything.  The mantra of the day is “If you’re not expecting it – better off rejecting it.”

Sunday Sermon

Sunday, March 22, Lent 5

A time for honesty

The Rev. Abby VanderBrug takes us into Lazarus' tomb to describe the burial clothes with which he's been bound, asking us whether we've bound ourselves in our own metaphorical burial clothes, and what that has done for us. She notes Lent is a time for honesty: "It's a time when we look at ourselves and we tell it like it is, and when we tell God things like they are."
