Coming Soon - St. James Neighborhood Dinner Groups

Signups for the Neighborhood Dinner Groups starting this fall will end on Rally Sunday, September 20. Look for the clipboards after church to give us your information or contact Midge Coburn at mcoburn2@gmail.com.

The groups will be formed right after Rally Sunday and we will begin this fun way to get to know others in your neighborhood. The response has been wonderful, but we would like to make sure that all those who would like to be included are able to take part.

Sunday Sermon

Sunday, Sept.6, Pentecost 15

The Blood of the Lamb

The Rev. Dr. Mark Hargreaves explores Exodus’ Passover story, emphasizing blood sacrifice’s significance, its biblical roots, and its connection to Jesus’ sacrifice. It highlights sacrifice as transformation, not appeasement, and underscores remembrance in the Eucharist, shaping Christian identity as redeemed through Christ’s blood. The focus is on understanding sacrifice’s spiritual meaning beyond literal interpretation.
