Fall Tag Sale 11/8 & 9

The fall tag sale sale will be held on November 8th and 9th! People can start bringing in stuff for the sale, and we start setting up for the sale, on November 3 right after church. We’ll be setting up all week beginning on November 3, and will need lots of help! People can sign up to help on the easel near the kitchen, but walk-ins are welcome! 

Socktober Happening this October!

Socktober is happening! Last year we donated over 800 pairs to Ledyard Social Service Department! This Socktober we will again collect NEW socks throughout the month of October.

Black/dark colors are needed for adults and all sizes and colors for children. Donate socks in the bin in the Narthex. Thank you!

Trunk or Treat 10/25

Trunk or Treat is happening on Friday, October 25th! Individually wrapped candy is needed. Those interested should meet in the sanctuary with Gina following the service on Sunday. Please consider helping out!  Have ideas? Please contact Gina Williams at ginamjazz@gmail.com.

Queer Movie Night 10/19

SE/CT Travelling Queer Movie night comes to St. Luke on Saturday, Oct. 19th  at 7:00pm. The film is The Danish Girl.   

Women's Group Meeting 10/12

The Women’s Group will meet on Saturday, Oct. 12th  at 10:30am in Classroom 2. Women’s Group is an open invitation to female identifying people of all ages, to share their joys and concerns in a supportive environment where they find comfort and strength in Jesus and in one another. Drop-ins are welcome!

Lifelong Learning Team Meeting 10/13

The Lifelong Learning Team will meet on Sunday, Oct. 13th following worship in the conference room. All interested in joining are welcome to attend.

Fellowship Team Meeting 10/14

The Fellowship Team will meet on Monday, Oct. 14th at 6:30pm in the conference room. Anyone interested in helping with fellowship activities is encouraged to join.

Council Meeting 10/17

The Congregation Council will meet on Oct. 17th at 6:00pm in the conference room.  

Crop Walk 10/20

The Gales Ferry/Ledyard Crop Walk will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1:00PM. This will be St. Luke’s 35th year participating in this important event. Register here.

Beautification Day 10/19

St Luke's Fall Beautification Day is Saturday, October 19 starting at 9AM and ending at 12PM. Refreshments will be available.

The goal is to weed the perimeter of the building and parking lot, around signage, etc., rake/clean up beds, trim hedges and plants, (we can discuss the periential above ground parts remain standing or cut back/trim) If you have bulbs you would like to plant, please do so, tend to the pollinator garden and community vegetable garden, and whatever you think needs attention.
