Spring Blood Drive 4/9

Join us on April 9th from 1:30pm-6:30pm for our Spring Blood Drive! The need is critical due to the many weather related cancellations. Power Red donations are becoming more and more critical for emergency patients.

From the American Red Cross, "Power Red (double red cell) donations require donors to meet specific height, weight, and hemoglobin criteria higher than whole blood donations to ensure safety, primarily targeting donors with O-negative, O-positive, A-negative, or B-negative blood types. Males must be at least 5’1” and >130 lbs, while females must be at least 5’5” and >150 lbs, with a minimum 13.3 g/dL hemoglobin."

We offer a warm welcome and delicious homemade refreshments.

Register at redcrossblood.org

Kid's Corner & Celebrate Worship 4/12

Join us on April 12th  for our next Celebrate worship service and Kids’ Corner.

Garden Help Encouraged!

Now that the snow has mostly melted, we are beginning to set up the St. Luke Garden starting this week on Wednesday. If there is enough interest, we will also have some work lined up for Saturdays. Please see Penny or Ray, if you have interest in helping out. Email: raymondheller@sbcglobal.net or phheller@sbcglobal.net.   Cells: 8608846914 or 8608840227. Thank you!

Bible Study - Every 3rd Sunday

Life Long Learning is hosting an open bible study right after church. It will be held every third Sunday of the month. It is going to be group lead with basic instructions. We will be discussing the readings and gospel of the following Sunday (4th Sunday). Bring your bible if you want and no prep work is needed. All are welcome.

Crisis Meals

Please contact Pastor Heidi or Sue Anderson if you are in need of meal assistance during a difficult time.

181 FLOCKS AND COUNTING!

Check out the chicken poster in the Narthex, we're adding a pompon for each flock we will purchase with your amazing donations! THANKS to everyone who has donated already. Your sacrifice will be a blessing! Families who get chicks from ELCA Good Gifts raise the chicks and share their eggs and new chicks with neighbors. They have protein-rich food for themselves and can earn money by selling eggs and chicks. Envelopes are in the pews. Make checks to St. Luke (memo CHICKS.) There is a chicken button on our online giving platform (Vanco.)

RaiseRight Gift Cards

How it works... merchants give St. Luke a small percent of each card you purchase. For example, you purchase a $100 Stop & Shop gift card, then St. Luke gets $4 you get $100 in groceries. Do this 4 weeks a month and you give St. Luke $16 at no cost to you! These dollars support the church's good samaritan funds which Pastor Heidi can use to support anyone during tight times. It's convenient for you and supports our outreach ministries! It’s a win-win! There are 100's of participating merchants like ShopRite, Dunkin Donuts, Home Depot, Walmart, TJMaxx, Amazon, and Subway just to name a few. To get cards deliverd to St. Luke Order on line at:

 https://www.raiseright.com

OR  Raise Right cards are available for purchase by check on the First and Third Sundays each month after Worship.
