Sunday Breakfast
Breakfast this coming Sunday, May 26, will be provided
by guest chefs, Nelson & Janice Toebbe.

Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.

Thank You from the DOK!
Our "Diaper Drive" was a huge success! Thanks to your generosity we collected 3795 diapers and 908 wipes. EACM was extremely grateful to receive them as they were completely out.

Thank you for supporting EACM and the "Mom's" in honor of Mother's Day!

Flags for Memorial Day
In keeping with what has become a tradition at St. Luke's, the men of BOSA (The Brotherhood of St. Andrew), will be providing American flags to the congregations attending services on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26.

These flags are mounted on 24"wooden posts, and are ideally sized for display in your yard or on your front porch. Better yet, they are perfect for placing at the headstone of a loved one, or at the grave of someone who has given their life in service to our country. War memorials and military cemeteries are also ideal placement areas for these flags.

We honor and pray for all on this Memorial Day.

No Ascension Day Service
On May 30th, there will NOT be a service for Ascension Day this year.

Spring Foyer Groups Sign-Up
Foyer Groups are groups of 6-8 (could be more) people that meet for a meal (at someone's home or at a restaurant). Every person (or couple) takes a turn arranging a meeting.  After the Spring meetings, new groups will begin in the Winter.

Besides having fun and getting to know each other, Foyer Groups offer an excellent opportunity to discuss where our church is now, where it is going and how we feel.   Of course, the groups have no assigned topics and people may just want to let the conversations ramble and flow, laugh and have a good time.

This is the LAST weekend for sign ups , with sign up sheets at both narthex entrances.

Call Calvin Riley Pinney: 245 1623 or Caroline Eddleman: 253-0135 for information or questions.

Ascension Music Festival
4 Choir Festive Celebration of the Feast of the Ascension - Calvary Episcopal Church, Thursday, May 30 at 7:00 pm.

The choirs of St. Luke's, St. Francis in the Fields, Christ Church Cathedral and Calvary Episcopal will combine forces for a festive service for Ascension.

The organists and choral directors of the four churches will share responsibilities during the service.  This is an unusual opportunity to hear four excellent choirs.

We'll sing "God is gone up" by Gerald Finzi, and "Ascendit Deus" by William Byrd.

I hope to see many St. Luker's there!  Parking is available in the lot right next to Calvary.

Centering Prayer
There will be NO Centering Prayer for the month of May due to graduations and other conflicts.

Please join us for the next Centering Prayer on
June 25, at 6pm at the Lyman House (church office) conference room.

We meet every fourth Tuesday of the month .
