"Dear Members of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church,

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the generous donation of diapers and wipes.  It couldn't have come at a better time.  This will be a huge blessing for our families with babies.  Thank you again to all of you that contributed, for being a blessing  to EACM and to the community.

Sincerely,
The EACM Staff"

No Ascension Day Service
TODAY, May 30th, there will NOT be a service for Ascension Day this year.

Wednesday Bible Study
The 9:45am bible study is taking a break in the month of June.

Lemonade on the Lawn is back!
Meet us on the lawn after the 10am service.

Ascension Music Festival
4 Choir Festive Celebration of the Feast of the Ascension - Calvary Episcopal Church, Thursday, May 30 at 7:00 pm.

The choirs of St. Luke's, St. Francis in the Fields, Christ Church Cathedral and Calvary Episcopal will combine forces for a festive service for Ascension.

The organists and choral directors of the four churches will share responsibilities during the service.  This is an unusual opportunity to hear four excellent choirs.

We'll sing "God is gone up" by Gerald Finzi, and "Ascendit Deus" by William Byrd.

I hope to see many St. Luker's there!  Parking is available in the lot right next to Calvary.

Bibletimes
St. Luke's unique version of  Vacation Bible School will be held at Epiphany Catholic Church,  914 Old Harrods Creek Road, July 8 - 12th, from 9am to noon  .

Please go to

to sign up a child or grandchild, or to become a volunteer.

Safe Environment training through the archdiocese of Louisville is required for all tent parent volunteers.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 24

HomeLife Event Calendar
I am happy to compile events going on in the lives of our parishioners that they would like for other parishioners to support/attend, such as musical recitals, sporting events, business openings, craft shows, horse shows, etc.

For example, if I had a booth at the Cherokee Art Festival and wanted everyone to support me, that could be something we could add to the weekly email, bulletin and/or website.

Hope this explains what I am trying to do. People can send their events to me at [email protected]
and I can get them to you.

Thanks! Shaun McEntire.
