Allhallowtide
Allhallowtide  is the three-day observance of All Hallows' Eve, All Saints, and All Souls. Traditionally, it is celebrated on October 31, November 1, and November 2. Because of the timing of diocesan convention this year, our schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday, October 31st. Confession will be offered at 5:15 in St. George's Chapel. Evening Prayer for the Eve of All Saints Day in the quire at 6:00 p.m. (no sermon). All are invited for food and drink afterward at a local restaurant.
  • Thursday, November 1st. Low Mass for All Saints Day in St. George's Chapel at 12:05 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 4th. We will celebrate All Saints Day at both the 8:00 and 10:00 Masses.
  • Wednesday, November 7th. All Souls Requiem in the nave at 6:00 p.m. As is our custom, we will pray for those who have died in the parish in the last year, as well as anyone you'd like to add. To add a name to the list, please email it to the office at [email protected]
Fall Back!
Daylight Savings Time ends early Sunday morning, November 4th. That means we get an extra hour of sleep! Be sure to reset your clocks so that you don't arrive at church an hour early!
St. Mary's Flyer
Friends,

Community bulletin boards, like the one we have in the parish hall, used to be the primary place where people would keep up on local events and gatherings. While the internet has shifted their importance, I still see them from time to time. Are there any bulletin boards in the places you frequent? If so, would you consider printing this one-page flyer and posting it? Thank you, Isaac Petty, for creating this for our parish's use! Click on the picture to open the link for printing.

Peace,
Fr. Charles

Sponsoring the altar flowers is a beautiful way to honor loved ones. Flowers are often given to mark special life events such as birth and birthdays; anniversary of a wedding, baptism, confirmation; the memory of a loved one; or as a thanksgiving for life’s blessings. Flowers are not a budgeted item in our church operations. The only funds available for use by this ministry are the funds you donate. You are invited to take part in this ministry!

If you'd like to sponsor altar flowers, click here for more information.
