2020 Stewardship Campaign
Dear St. Mary's Family,

Gratitude. Gratitude is something in short supply in today's world. We often think of gratitude as an emotion that we feel or don't feel, but in fact, gratitude is an essential Christian spiritual habit. It's not a feeling, it's an intentional practice.

And we have so much to be grateful for at St. Mary's! Our parish is growing in both numbers of souls and depth of faith, new ministries are being formed, and and lives are being transformed.

Gratitude transforms our perceptions and attitudes. As Christians, our acts of service to others are acts of gratitude for the gifts we've been given. Our financial giving is an act of gratitude to God that supports the ministries we've been called to do as a parish family.

By now, you've received a letter in your mailbox from the Stewardship Committee. Please prayerfully consider what God is calling you to pledge for the 2020 calendar year. If you haven't pledged before, please consider pledging for the first time. If you're renewing your pledge, please consider increasing your pledge for the next year. Jay and I plan to increase our pledge by 10% next year. I tell you this not to brag, but to lead by example and demonstrate my personal commitment to the ministry of St. Mary's Church.

Please join me in expressing gratitude to Almighty God for the gifts we've been given, and for the faithful ministry God has called us to at St. Mary's Church. See you Sunday in church!

Fr. Charles
