Centering Prayer
Centering Prayer as a Life Discipline

Centering Prayer will meet next on June 20, 2022 at 4:15 p.m.on Zoom. We have several copies of the updated version of Fr. Keatings's Open Mind, Open Heart, enough so that we probably don't need to share books. We will use this book for formation and we will practice lectio divina with our readings. The Friday morning Centering Prayer on Zoom continues at 8:30 a.m. for a short, half hour session of meditation only. If you want to know more and are interested in joining, please contact either Deb Lewallen (deborahslewallen@gmail.com) or Cindy Dodson (cindysberrypatch@gmail.com).

Vicar's Voice
Dear Parish family and friends,

It's been quite a change being in places with lots of greenery and water. It is quite a contrast with the more desert and dry of our daily environment. It is just the occasion to pause and enjoy the diverse beauty which our world provides in our natural environments and in the various people who live in them.

God gives us loving permission to enjoy so many different places and peoples in our world.

The New Testament is a story about the Risen Christ visiting people in various ways throughout the world of the first century. In our Sunday lectionary we will explore the outcomes of what our identity with Christ means.

Summer is a different season but it is another season for knowing the inspiration of Christ.

With prayers and love,

Father Phil
