Dear St. Thomas Families,

Our 2nd Grade and the Family Faith Formation students will receive their First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the 12:30pm mass.  "As you receive your first Holy Communion, we pray that you will forever be blessed as you continue to trust God and grow in his grace."   Congratulations!

Please join us on Monday, May 6, 7:00pm as St. Thomas school and parish gather to celebrate the Month of Mary with our May Crowning ceremony. What a beautiful way to prayerfully welcome in our month by honoring our Blessed Mother! Students are to be in their classroom by 6:40pm and will proceed to the church with their class.

The 3rd i-Ready Reading diagnostic results will be sent home with your student this week. 90% of our students are reading on grade level or greater.

As a friendly reminder the students in grades 5   - 7 will be administered an advanced math test on Tuesday, May 14th.  The test will be one of four variables to assist in academic placement for the 2019-2020 school year.

The 2nd grade class enjoyed their visit to the Passionist Nuns in Erlanger, KY on Tuesday, April 30.  They began their visit by praying the rosary in the chapel, and proceeded to a meeting room to watch a video on how the hosts are made and used in our church. There was plenty of time for students to ask questions.

Student Council would like to invite all 5th thru 8th graders to the Glow Dance Party, May 3, 2019. The dance will be in the cafeteria from 7pm. to 10 pm. Admission is $10.00 with a signed permission required to attend the dance.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Boosters' End of Year Cookout on Thursday, May 9. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm in the cafeteria with our monthly meeting to begin at 7:30.  If you have any questions you can contact Jack Ruck or Chris Meyer at boosters@sttschool.org.

Lost and Found
Make sure to check out the Lost and Found. We have a box and rack that is over flowing with clothing.  Many articles of clothing have been left in the gym during practices and/or tournaments.

First grade learned about the
Life Cycle of a Butterfly.

We watched them grow from little eggs to
beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies!
