Fall Music Program:
Ensemble Con Fuoco
This Sunday, November 1, 3pm
St. Timothy's Worship Space
"One of Cincinnati's most exciting choral groups, Ensemble Con Fuoco, marks All Souls with a Requiem across centuries, pairing Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Missa pro defunctis - drawn from his 1605 Officium Defunctorum, the summit of Spanish Renaissance polyphony - with Kerensa Briggs’ Requiem (2022), a contemporary setting for mezzo-soprano, choir, and organ rooted in the same plainchant tradition that shaped Victoria’s writing. Each work turns grief toward consolation in the language of its own age."

St. Timothy's Worship Space
"Celebrate the 3rd annual reimagination of the Choral Evensong, featuring the St. Timothy's Choir, the Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church Music Program, and the Thomas More University Dolce Ensemble."

Forward Day by Day
Available in the Gathering Space
Pick up your copy this Sunday and stay connected.
"Dear friends in Christ,
In tumultuous times, it’s easy to lose hope. But we who follow Jesus are called to hope. Our hope is rooted in nothing less than the astounding power of God’s grace and mercy. God’s grace and mercy is seen in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the sacraments, lives that manifest the new creation, and the power of the Spirit.
"In Jesus Christ, we are freed from sin, from captivity to evil, and from fear of death. That freedom and the hope it offers can help us keep our perspective in tough times. And when we lose our confidence, we can read the testimony of the martyrs who went before us on the way. But how are we to pray in tough times? Saint Paul reminds us that “the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words” (Romans 8:26).
"So when the headlines drag you down, when times are tough, when challenges pile up, turn to God in prayer. He’ll be right there ready to offer you what you need to pray. And Forward Day by Day is a good companion, too. Enjoy this issue, and give a copy to a friend as a sign of hope.
"Yours faithfully,
Scott Gunn
Executive Director"

Stephen Ministries at St. Tim's
Stephen Ministers are trained lay people who walk with people who are going through a difficult time. Often people are so busy with their day-to-day life that it is difficult for them to reflect on how they are doing. If a person doesn't have a chance to talk about his/her problems, the burden can grow even heavier. A Stephen Minister offers a confidential, non judgmental "ear" to help you through the difficult time. Please contact Debby Corotis for more information at Debby@Corotis.com

Join the church’s public policy and witness team on the first Thursday of each month through November, for “Vote Faithfully” calls to support voter engagement in ways consistent with Episcopal values. During the calls, hosts will share resources and ideas to help congregations promote voting and civic participation while remaining nonpartisan (avoiding support for specific political parties, candidates, or platforms). The August 6 call will focus on important voter registration and election deadlines and how to make a congregational communications plan.

Churches are SOLIDIFIED during Coffee Hour - this is a life giving and saving ministry.
You don't know who will walk into our doors next Sunday, and having a few things to nibble on offers them the cover they may need to hang around for a few more moments than they would have, allowing them to connect with YOU and the people you share the pews with.
We welcome everyone, and feeding them after service is one small way we do that!
This Sunday is the FIRST Sunday of November.
If your last name begins with letters A through F please bring a small snack to share!
Sunday of the month...
1st: last names A - F
2nd: last names G - M
3rd: last names N - R
4th: last names S - Z
5th: If you forgot to bring something on your Sunday, bring it today! This is an all hands on deck week!

Do you have any pics of St. Tim's? This could be a group of parishioners out to eat on a Friday night or snaps of the Holy Eucharist on a Sunday morning. Don't mind if they are used for our communication? Share them with us!

Please use this method rather than emailing the photos to Sami.
There is a small learning curve, but this is the quickest and easiest way to maintain photo quality.
Emailed photos are too pixelated to use on our socials and for marketing.

**Reminder - we do not give out PDF copies of the directory to anyone, period.**
There have been multiple scam emails sent to staff and parishioners that appear to be from members of the Vestry - beware, they are all fake. Church leadership uses the secure site Realm to host our directory.
We will NEVER, NEVER ask you for a PDF copy of the directory. Ever. No such thing exists.
If you get an email claiming otherwise, don't engage, just report it as phishing.
