It was another good weekend of jumping with plenty of tandems and fun jumpers, and several jumpers reaching important milestones.

Halloween Party, Speed Star, Chute-Shoot-Shot: October 27 |

We will be flying both Caravans this weekend so come on out and play!
 Come join us for a great weekend of fun and skydiving as we close out the 2012 season! We will start with friendly 4- and 8-way speedstar competitions, followed by our ever-popular Chute-Shoot-Shot competition during the last loads of the day, followed immediately by our annual Halloween party! Costumes are encouraged but not required. Best and Worst costumes will be selected and a good time is guaranteed!

The season is coming to a close but we still have the Halloween Party this Saturday, and next weekend Mark Duber will be conducting a Wingsuit First Flight Course. (See our ONLINE CALENDAR and our Start Skydiving Facebook page for more information and updates.)
Also, let's cheer on our 4-way teams, Start 4-Way and ladies team, Tenacity, as they compete at the 2012 USPA Nationals next week! Good luck, ladies and gents!!
WINGSUIT FIRST FLIGHT COURSE WITH MARK DUBER: NOVEMBER 3
The October 13th course has been rescheduled to November 3rd. Please contact Mark Duber at markduber@gmail.com for more information and to reserve your slot. We will also be going over the new exit syllabus that is required before you can jump a wingsuit from any Start Skydiving aircraft.

| New Marketing Initiative at Start Skydiving |

Over the years jumpers have asked us if we have large window decals for their vehicles. So I thought, what better way to promote our great DZ than with some cool Start Skydiving window decals! We have designed three decals printed on see-through material so that they are street legal. Check them out below.
Here is the really cool part about this marketing initiative. You allow us to place your choice of decal on your rear window and we will place "one lift ticket" per month Feb.-Nov. on your account. This is a $230.00 value! We will replace the sticker whenever they show serious wear.
All you have to do to participate is email John@startskydiving.com and tell me which decal you would like. Decals will be available to install within the upcoming week.
I will be out this weekend installing decals so come on out.

THIS WEEK'S HONORED SERVICE MEMBER - SPC AARON BEDFORD
SPC Aaron Bedford was awarded the Army Achievement Medal in a ceremony in Fargo on June 17, 2012 for being named runner-up in the 2011 Reserve Component Army Band Soldier of the Year. Bedford is a percussionist with the North Dakota National Guard's 188th Army Band in Fargo. He joined the military in 2000 and served four years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. He deployed to Iraq in 2009-2010 with the Minnesota National Guard's 34th Infantry Division Band.
