Dear SMS Community,
It is hard to believe it, but the time has come to get ready for the 2021-2022 school year. Included in this newsletter are instructions and links to fill out your school forms. School forms are submitted for every student each summer, so both returning and new students should get their forms submitted by August 1.
A few weeks ago, we released the SMS vaccination policy, requiring all SMS students to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Please be sure to submit your vaccination cards with your medical forms if you have not done so already. Students who request and are approved for vaccine exemption will follow a specific policy, included below. Also linked below is a letter from Dr. Dobson regarding the vaccine.
Please note that we have updated the school calendar to reflect a change in schedule for the spring. The new version is linked below and includes a change of date for Spring Parents' Weekend. Please note that we will now welcome parents to campus on May 20-21 for conferences, Undergraduate Awards, Prom, and the Eighth Grade Moving Up Ceremony.
The Stratton Mountain School Administrative Staff is on campus this summer and ready to help you if you have any questions about planning for the upcoming year. Please let us know how we can help.
I hope that you are all enjoying your summer!
Sincerely,
Holly

Hi, New SMS Families!
We can't wait to have your child join us this fall! If you have not done so already, please request final transcripts from your child's current school for our admissions office.
We are also collecting headshot photos of new students for our Student Directory. Don't have one on hand? No biggy! Check out this great tutorial on how to take professional headshots using nothing but your phone!
