There are multiple anti-anxiety medications to help with firework and storm phobias. We would like to tell you about a new product that is specifically designed for noise phobia. It is called Sileo and it calms your dog without sedating them. This medication is absorbed by the gums. It can be given before fireworks or storms or even after the noises have started. Sileo takes about 30 - 60 minutes to be effective and lasts for about 2 hours, at which time it can be redosed. 

 

Unfortunately fear of fireworks is common in dogs. Our dogs shelters are at their highest capacity around the 4 ^th of July due to dogs running away out of fear. Owners also report their dogs destroying furniture or even hurting themselves due to their anxiety. If your dog has a history of firework or storm phobias don't let them suffer any more.
