SUMMERVILLE BAPTIST CHURCH

From Pastor Mike...

Easter is here and we are expecting a great day of celebration with many new faces and guests. Everyone should invite one friend to come with them and we may perhaps top the 1000 mark this Easter in worship and Sunday School. We are praying that this would be more than a one day celebration, however. Why not invite that friend to come and hear the message that is certainly what Easter is all about, but is also the story of the entire Bible? In the weeks following Easter, we will begin a series called, "What Is the Gospel?" This series will equip you to know the story of the Bible and our world, and also help you to know how to share the gospel message that Paul says is the power of God for salvation for all who believe. This would be a great series to invite your friends to as we celebrate every day a Risen King, who transforms sinners into adopted children. Let's build momentum in the months following Easter and expect God to move for His glory in mighty ways, in our city and in our midst at Summerville Baptist.

Easter Service Times
Sunday Morning Bible Study

We begin a new series in Sunday School centering around the term HOPE. This coming Sunday, our focus is on David's kindness to Mephibosheth, one of Saul's descendants. Through the cross of Jesus, we have a Hope of His Presence now and for the future. In other words, our past does not define us. See you Sunday, as we connect with the Word and others.
