They Painted Their Hearts Out For a Worthy Cause

This spring, TEAM collaborated once again with Peace River Community Housing Partners to paint the interior of a 1,500 square foot house designated for a qualified PORCH applicant. TEAM provided painting equipment and joined forces with the Rotary Club of Punta Gorda to enlist 11 volunteers who successfully completed the project in one day. Giving back to the community is a core value of both TEAM and Rotary. All volunteers expressed a strong sense of fulfillment in contributing to the preparation of this home for a family in need.

Great Day to Pedal and Play

Pedal and Play in Paradise is a yearly TEAM Punta Gorda biking celebration, attracting hundreds of riders of all ages and abilities. This signature celebration offers multiple “rides” and includes breakfast, lunch, beverages and entertainment. The March event is staged at Laishley Park on the shores of Charlotte Harbor. 2025 Pedal and Play Chair Darcy Hanley reports here on the amazing work of dozens of volunteers who contributed significantly to the event's success, with special thanks to a few who played key roles. Pedal and Play attracted over 300 riders and proved to be an outstanding community event. Next year's date is March 21, 2026. The 2025 committee is recruiting 2026 event co-chairs. Interested? TEAM Loaner Bikes Now at Military Heritage Museum

Minutes from Fishermen's Village and Gilchrist Park, the newest "hop on and enjoy" bike station welcomes riders Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 - 3:30. Other locations include SpringHill Suites, Sheraton Four Points, and Fresco's Coffee Shop on Taylor Street.

A Grand 2025 Golf Scramble

It was a gorgeous day under crystal clear skies as dozens of golfers took to the course on April 12th to participate in TEAM's Annual Golf outing at St. Andrews South Golf Club in Punta Gorda Isles. This historically sold-out event is a major fundraiser for TEAM. Golf Chair Betsy Spagnolo applauded the players and sponsors for their generosity. “It is their enthusiastic support that enables us to do what TEAM does best: give back to the community. TEAM volunteers are an important part of any successful event, and this golf outing would not have gone as smoothly without their talented assistance."
