Teen Services Sonoma

August 2015
Thank you for all of your support and generosity! Because of your contributions, we are poised to serve and empower more youth in our community. We are so excited to share all of the upcoming events at Teen Services Sonoma!
Our Ready to Work Program is Starting Soon!

Skills for Life
Our Skills for Life 8-week series of workshops are taught by industry professionals targeted for young adults between the ages of 13 to 24. The goal of the workshops is to prepare them for the working world; from general employment behavior to advanced money management skills.

We offer an education that goes beyond the standard fare found on the internet; and provide highly interactive, engaging workshops that spark and foster motivation in young adults. Upon the completion of the Skills for Life workshops, participants will receive a certificate and will be eligible for job placement services, coaching and on the job training through Teen Services Sonoma. Young adults who would like to enroll in the Ready to Work Skills for Life Series need to fill out our Interest Form

Certification Courses
In addition to our Skills for Life Series, we offer a Food Handler's Safety Course and a Service Etiquette Course. Young adults who would like to enroll in these courses need to email Emilia Donovan

To Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to help support our facilitators and empower our youth in obtaining the skills needed to gain employment and be successful in life. Please email Jodie Taylor to learn more about volunteering.
Day of Caring
We are so grateful to  Sonoma Raceway and Keysight Technologies who will be sending some of their employees to volunteer at the Teen Center on September 9th for The United Way's Day of Caring!
