To all of our parishes:

Stewardship time is right around the corner! This is just a reminder that I am here and happy to help you prepare. If you have any specific questions or want help troubleshooting an issue, please either book time with meemail, or call me at (205) 358-9237.

The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS) has many resources that you can adapt to your parish setting, and the diocese provides a free TENS membership for all parishes. Please contact me for TENS login information.

Finally, here is my favorite prayer for stewardship by TENS. It will be my prayer for you and your parish this season.

Creator God, you made the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. You have blessed us wildly with your abundant, abiding love so that we may be inspired to live generously. From your plentiful gifts, we give you our own first fruits, the gathering of our time, talent, and treasure. May they be a blessing to the world. Amen.

Claire Cotten, Director of Mission Funding
