Dear Teams, Ticket Buyers and Sponsors:
Sadly, the Gumbo Gala has been cancelled this year due to low team participation. With half the teams we had last year and half the sponsorships we had last year, we could not make it work out financially. The hardest hit came in the Professional Division. We all know restaurants have had a difficult time over the last three years, and with the increase in food prices and low staffing, they could not afford to participate.
Instead of continuing on with a less than stellar event that you might have been disappointed in, the decision was made to cancel. Refunds for prepaid items are being refunded as soon as possible. Please know that a lot of discussions were held and the decision was not taken lightly. Thank you for your support and look to hear from us again in the future!
