ISHOF supports MISSK
Ed Remy of the MISSK school in
Dania Beach. MISSK is an Afrocentric elementary school that will require preschool and elementary age students to pass the swim test.
ISHOF is providing materials books goggles and other resources to help them with this program

Looking out of the office window on a beautiful day like today, who wouldn't be sad to leave this place, our home of 50 years! At the same time we are excited about moving forward and to our fantastic new location in Santa Clara, CA next year. The ISHOF Board of Directors will meet in Santa Clara in October to discuss important decisions on site. We will keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.

PASSINGS
passed away peacefully at Thorburn Manor on September 17th, 2015. Throughout a period of seventy years, Sir Peter Heatly had contributed to the sport of swimming and diving at the local, national and international levels as competitor, team manager, official and administrator. Read more in the

VISITORS
Ramiro Iglesias with wife Maria and daughter Antonia. His father was the late Horatio Iglesias - Honor Open Water Swimmer
Cuban water polo greats Osvaldo Garcia and Oscar Periche standing beside the Mark Spitz exhibit. They both played in Munich and combined played in 7 Olympic Games. A first time visitor to the USA Periche said it has long been his dream to visit the Hall of Fame. He is regarded as one of the all time great goalkeepers. Garcia now lives in Miami.
Hall of Famer Doug Russell brought his team from Texas for a tour of the hall of fame. Doug won the 100 fly at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City.
