Laura Nietzer at ISTE 2019 in Philadelphia - June 23 - 26
This summer Laura Nietzer , MY HERO Educator and Learning Circle Director, has been busy presenting our media arts resources to teachers from around the globe. She recently was invited to present MY HERO at the  ISTE 2019 Conference , The Global Education Conference, and the EdChange Global Online Conference .
 
Laura curates lesson plans in the MY HERO Teachers Room and mentors educators new to The MY HERO Project throughout the year online.   http://myhero.com/TeachersRoom
 
As a veteran educator who has used MY HERO in the classroom for over a decade, she now helps other teachers integrate MY HERO into their classrooms.

A Weekend of Heroes

Heroes from around the world took center stage June 8 and 9, as The MY HERO Project presented  A Weekend of Heroes . Fun-filled events included a spectacular performance of Bella Gaia by composer Kenji Williams during a benefit for MY HERO's  Media Arts Education  program. MY HERO mentors shared their insights on using MY HERO resources in the classroom, and the community enjoyed a free screening of uplifting short films.
