Greetings Meadows Members!

Beware the Ides of March. Well, not really...what could be so bad about a Tuesday in the middle of March?

In this newsletter you’ll see we have a lot of activities happening this month! It is the final stretch of trivia nights until next fall, we have our (sold out) golf murder mystery, a Callaway and Taylor Made custom fitting in the sims, and we’ll be at a couple golf shows, one in Portland and one in Auburn.

For “too much fun” and great music, don’t miss our St. Patrick’s Day events on March 17 and a bonus celebration on March 19. Click on the poster below for more details.

Some of you may have heard that Lucas has taken an opportunity to help open an exciting new simulator facility in downtown Portland. We’ll all need to go check it out and say Hi'. It’s scheduled to open in March.  We’re sure he’ll do fantastic things (and probably wager with some unsuspecting schmucks on occasion). Make us proud Lucas! We’ll miss him for sure.

As a result of this loss, we have hired our new Golf Professional, Matt Madrid. Matt's most recent position has been at Gorham Country Club, he’s also served in various golf capacities in Arizona and Colorado. The only thing going against him is that he went to Colorado State University - and as you all know - I’m a diehard Wyoming Cowboys fan and they’re a dreaded rival. (Darrick insisted we hire him despite this major flaw so let’s hope the Cowboys continue to dominate the CSU Sheep. I might need counseling but will do the best I can to suck it up.)  Joking aside, we are happy to have Matt on board. Please welcome him when he starts March 1.

From a staffing standpoint, Kait Gallagher is now full time with us and working here as well as Fogg Brook Resort. She’s in charge of events including tournaments. We’re glad she’s on board with us and she’s already keeping us more organized than we have been in the past. Welcome her and make sure to ask her what her title is when you do see her.

Lastly, we’re hiring for a number of positions from dishwasher to grounds crew and cart valets.  If you know anyone that wants to be on a kick butt team, have fun, work hard, and even get paid, send them in soon.

Our fingers are crossed for outdoor golf in March and soon. In the meantime, stop by the sims to hone in on that swing!.

Slainte,

Randall & The Team
